Useful information for Opera patrons

 

 

Late Seating

In consideration of the artists and other patrons, latecomers must wait to be seated until the appropriate interval. Video monitors are positioned for viewing until seating is permitted.

 

 

Doors

Lobby doors open one hour before curtain

 

 

Urgent Messages

If you are expecting an urgent call, leave your seat location at the Information Desk.  Inform the caller of your seat location and number to call:  (317) 940-9699.  You will be contacted at the earliest opportunity.

 

 

Coat Check

Coat Check Service is located in the front lobby, opposite the Information Desk.

 

 

Concessions

Soft drinks and confections are sold on both sides of the Main Lobby and Terrace 1. Bar service is available at all opera performances. Food and beverages are not allowed in the auditorium.

 

 

Booster Seats

Booster seats are available for your convenience.

 

 

Elevators

Elevators are located on all levels adjacent to main staircases.

 

 

Krannert Room

For pre-performance discussions, receptions and banquets, access the Krannert Room by the east stair or elevator.

 

 

Telephones

Public telephones are found in the Box Office and the East Krannert Room lobby.

 

 

Restrooms

All restrooms are wheelchair-accessible.

Electronic Devices

All cameras, communication, and recording devices in the auditorium are strictly prohibited.  Please deactivate electronic watch alarms, telephones, and pagers.

 

 

Lost and Found

Items may be claimed at the Information Desk after performances and the following business day, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

 

 

Smoking

Clowes Memorial Hall is a smoke free facility.
