Attend a Dress Rehearsal

School groups are invited to attend the final dress rehearsals for Indianapolis Opera's mainstage productions. Dress rehearsals are performed with orchestra, costumes, sets, and lighting. An English translation of the text is projected above the stage; these “supertitles” are used even when the performance in sung in English. Seating is reserved, but no tickets are issued. Study materials are provided to registered groups.

at Clowes Memorial Hall
Adult attendance at the dress rehearsal is limited to four per group of 15 students. For home school groups, no more than one parent per two children can be admitted.

Tickets are $7 for students and $15 for adults; one chaperone may attend free of charge for every 15 students. There must be a minimum of 15 students for any chaperone to be admitted free. Group pre-registration is required; payment should be made with a single check or credit card charge.

All mailed, emailed, or faxed registrations must be received in the Indianapolis Opera office with payment no later than a week before the dress rehearsal. There will be no money collected at the event.
