Lyndsay Moy|Bloody Mary
Lyndsay Moy (mezzo-soprano) holds an MM in Voice from The Cleveland Institute of Music, as well as a BM in Voice and a BA in Painting from DePauw University. At CIM, she received the Frederick B. Prentice Award for Excellence in Voice, and at DePauw, the prestigious Performer’s Certificate. Moy has four first-place awards from the NATS Great Lakes Region competition. Favorite operatic roles include Maurya (Vaughn-Williams’ Riders to the Sea), Marcellina (Mozart's Le nozze di Figaro), Fidalma (Cimarosa’s Il matrimonio segreto), Mère Marie (Poulenc’s Dialogues of the Carmelites), and Zita (Puccini's Gianni Schicchi), among others. In 2015 and 2017, Moy was featured as a resident artist with the Indianapolis Opera. In 2016, Moy appeared in the world premiere of William Cooper’s Hagar for the Sacred in Opera Initiative of the National Opera Association. She frequently performs concert work around Indianapolis, and was recently featured as the alto soloist in Mendelssohn’s Elijah with Second Presbyterian Church under the baton of Michelle Louer. Last season, Moy appeared as the Housekeeper in Indianapolis Opera’s production of Man of La Mancha, and she is thrilled to return this season.
