    Basile Opera Center Rental Inquiry

    If yes, a properly licensed caterer and a permit to serve must be on file prior to event.

    Additional Terms & Conditions

    • All requested events dates will be held but not be confirmed until a written contract has been executed between the Indianapolis Opera/Basile Opera Center (BOC).
    • All events are required to have a building manager at an hourly rate of $22/hour. There are additional rental and facility charges. Event holder shall pay 7% state sales tax when applicable. 
    • The BOC can handle ticketing needs for a separate fee and will be discussed with the general director of the Indianapolis Opera. 
    • The BOC has no facility caterer, however any caterer associated with the event must produce a valid catering license before entering the building.
    • Events shall adhere to the BOC’s alcohol and permit requirements, state and federal laws which are outlined in the event contract. 
    • Event holders shall adhere to all insurance requirements outlined in the event contract.
