As a part of Libiamo!, the Indianapolis Opera is pleased to present this distinguished significant award, named in memory of Kathryn Taurel, volunteer and supporter of the arts extraordinaire. Instituted in 1989, this award recognizes women in Indianapolis who have made significant contributions as volunteers for local arts organizations. The Opera is just one of the arts organizations that benefited from Kathryn’s dedication and efforts as she strove to advance the arts and education in Indianapolis.
