Ticket Purchase Agreement

Payment Information
  • Cash, Check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express accepted.
  • Orders received fewer than 5 days in advance will be held for pickup at the Box Office. 
  • All sales are final.
Refunds and Exchanges
  • Unless the performance is canceled by the Indianapolis Opera, no refunds are given for any reason, including but not limited to supertitle malfunction, weather conditions, and change of cast or orchestra.
  • If you are unable to attend, you can continue to support the Indianapolis Opera, cast, and crew with a donation of your tickets, and receive a tax deduction for the total ticket value.
  • Exchanges must be completed 48 hours prior to curtain.
  • If performance is cancelled, request to exchange tickets must be conveyed to the Indianapolis Opera Box Office within 30 days from the date of cancellation. Exchanged tickets must be used within the 2020/2021 season.
  • Please note that discounts cannot be combined with any other offer, are subject to availability and prior sale, and are not valid on prior purchases. Discounts may be discontinued at any time.
  • Performance dates and cast are subject to change without notice.
  • Admission is at the discretion of Indianapolis Opera.
Donate Your Tickets
You may donate your tickets up to 5PM on last performance date and receive credit for a tax deduction. Call 317.283.3531 or email info@indyopera.org for additional information.
Lost Tickets
Please call the Box Office at 317.283.3531 and we will have a new ticket avaialble to you. If you are in a group, please indicate your seat number. On the day of a performance, please go directly to the box office for replacement issuance.
Didn’t Get Your Tickets? 
If you requested that we mail your tickets and did not receive them within 14 days of placing your order, please call Indianapolis Opera at 317.283.3531 with your ticket information to make alternative arrangements or for reprints.
​If You’re Late for a Performance
Late-comers will be seated at the earliest possible break in the performance.  If available all late arrivals will be placed in the Balcony. Depending on the performance, there may be no late seating. We do not offer refunds in the event of a missed performance. Shows begin promptly. Check your tickets for show times. PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY!
Third-Party Ticket Purchases
Indianapolis Opera is not responsible for tickets purchased through unauthorized third parties such as ticket brokers or online outlets. Tickets purchased from third parties may not be valid and unusable for admittance, and we cannot replace lost or stolen third-party tickets. Tickets purchased from third parties may be priced much higher than the ticket’s actual face value, and we will be unable to contact holders of such tickets about program changes or cancellations.
