OPERA FIELD TRIPS
​​FREE for Students!  Available Dates & Recommended Ages Listed Below

     For every mainstage production at Indianapolis Opera, as well as for the debut of each year's children's opera, we invite student groups to attend a special Preview Dress Rehearsal, the final rehearsal before opening night.  Students will get the full experience, complete with orchestra, costumes, sets, and lighting.

     Not all productions are suitable for all ages, so we have included recommended audiences alongside dress rehearsal information below.

     Seating is limited and reserved on a "first come, first served" basis.

DRESS REHEARSAL DATES:

November 13, 2024  |  Orchestra Preview Dress of THE BARBER OF SEVILLE
    Recommended Audience:  3rd grade +
     Time:  7:00 - 10:00 PM
     Location:  The Booth Tarkington Theater at the Center for Performing Arts 

May 7, 2025 | Orchestra Preview Dress of WEST SIDE STORY
     Recommended Audience: 6th grade +
     Time: 7:00 - 10:00 PM
​     Location: Bicentennial Pavilion at the Indianapolis Zoo
